Rasmussen & Associates Inc. was founded in 1979 by Bob Rasmussen. Bob’s 16 years foodservice experience as National Sales Manager for the Pillsbury Company gave him the vision to the value a broker could be to manufacturers in a given market. His business philosophy has always been built on strong relationships with the manufacturers, distributors and customers. Rasmussen & Associates is a family owned and operated business executing the same ethical standards and professionalism Bob developed his successful business on.

The company’s initial sales focus was on full line foodservice; however, with the rapidly changing food industry, Rasmussen Associates, Inc. realized the importance and value they could bring to their business partners by hiring additional sales professionals to focus on the vending and convenience store class of trade. In 1987 Rasmussen & Associates established their vending and convenience store divisions.

Along with the four trade channels, Rasmussen & Associates, Inc. expanded their sales coverage to five states, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin. With up to date technology and highly trained sales professionals, Rasmussen & Associates, Inc. has developed into a highly respected sales and marketing company.
